Teacher resources
As well as all the content within the Explore section of the website, we’ve also created dedicated lesson plans for teachers to further analyse the thematic content of each speech.
There’s a dedicated resource for each speech containing background information on the speech, a full transcript, useful links to other resources, as well as a number of exercises for students based on the speech content.
All these resources are free-of-charge and don’t require you to have an existing Almeida account. They are suitable for teachers of English Language and Literature, History and Philosophy and Ethics.
Figures of Speech resources are written by Jayne Bailey with additional contributions from Jo Carey, Sarah Stallwood-Hall, Morgan Wrighton and Abi Falase.
