Freedom from Torture is the only organisation in the UK dedicated solely to the treatment and rehabilitation of survivors of torture. The group taking part in the debate is a partnership between Arsenal Football Club in the Community, and Freedom From Torture. The programme is made up of football and classroom sessions, with the football sessions used to help participants develop confidence as well as language and social skills. The sessions help to create a sense of belonging and offer opportunities for training and employment.
