Emily Roberts reads her speech You'll always be my home.
Emily is a member of our Young Leaders programme. The Almeida Young Leaders is a scheme giving young people with something vital to say the tools and platform to do so. Each young leader has been mentored by a writer and director to develop their ideas, structuring a speech and skills in public speaking.
About Emily:
Emily grew up in a small village in North Wales, and joined her first youth theatre, ACTIVATE Performing Arts, aged 11. She has taken part in various productions ranging from a full production of A Midsummer Night's Dream set in the grounds of a National Trust castle, to the Rock Opera Theseus by Daren Vallier. She is currently a member of Company25 at Theatr Clwyd where she gained an interest in creating her own theatre. She hopes to one day train as a professional actor.
